Welcome to Elearning at Wellington Catholic District School Board! We hope you have an exciting learning experience that will feature innovation, creativity and higher order thinking.  Wellington Catholic District School Board offers secondary school course credit to students in Semester 1 and 2. Please complete this form if you would like to register for a course for 2018/19 school year.  

You can also register for a course in our "Reach Ahead" Summer School Program. Our teachers are experience and committed to a providing an exciting successful learning experience for all learners.

INNOVATIVE AND FLEXIBLE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT​​

The Wellington Catholi​​​​c District School Board eLearning program is a full distance, online course provider, supported by o​ur secondary schools. ​​​​​​The WCDSB offers secondary school courses to Ontario students on a semestered basis through asynchronous delivery.  Stude​​nts can work through self paced activities which focus o​n achievement of learning expectations rather than time spent in classroom. Our teachers are certified, experienced and committed to student success through a quality eLearning experience. Our dedicated technical and office staff will be working with each student to ensure that she/he has the access and support needed in order to be successful in his/her eLearning courses with WCDSB​​.​​​​​​​

"REACH AHEAD" SUMMER SCHOOL CREDITS​​​

Are you interested in reaching ahead and taking a credit in summer school? This opportunity will allow you to create space in your school year to take specialized courses (SHSM, CO​OP, TERRA) or create a "spare" period so you can focus on getting support for challenging subjects. After you have ​registered, you will be called down by your Guidance department to discuss your course selection.

​POLICY AND PROCEDURE

Once you have been confirmed in an eLEARNING course by your Guidance Counsellor, you can use your board login credentials to access the Virtual Learning Environment (Brightspace By D2L). Before you begin your courses it is important that you review the ​Guidelines for Online Learning​ document for information on student success, attendance, teacher delivery and assessent. ​You will receive a Welcome Letter​ a few weeks prior to course start outlining the next steps in begining your course.
